All of our trainers are certified, which means they’ve been trained in anatomy, physiology, and nutrition. They understand that no two bodies are alike and will work with you to get fit at the right pace. 90% of your success will be based on mindset and education. We’ll work diligently to train your mind just as much as your physical body.
Co-Owner & Director
“This is a God-inspired vision and calling.” I could not have thought of doing something so unique and tremendously needed in the city of Bridgeport. We are here to serve others on a platform where they can identify with, we are passionate about the service we provide, and we have faith in the assignment of helping others succeed.”
Business Manager & Team Leader
“I remember when I first came started sparring, I used to get dominated but with a lot of hard work and commitment, I have grown and developed tremendously, and I want to help others to do the same.”
Joe Goss, Sr.
“The greatest thing you can do for a man is change his way of thinking. I’ve been awakening champions for over 30 years and most of them do not wear boxing gloves. They have taken the skills of discipline, persistence, focus and such and have applied them to their personal lives, businesses and relationships and they are succeeding.”
Board Member & Coach
“I believe in the vision and mission of Gifted Hands, you’re not going to find a gym that cares more about you than making a name for themselves, this is who we are, and I love it!”
Joe Goss, Jr.
Personal Trainer and Coach
“Certified Personal Coach and Boxing Instructor – My gift and passion is body development; everybody doesn’t fit into a “box”; that’s why I make it personal. And as a former Assistant Athletic Co-Ordinator, I love coaching the kids also. I feel that this is my life’s purpose - seeing others smile, achieve their dreams, and reach success.”
Personal Trainer & Coach
“Boxing skills are life skills; boxing has changed my life. I take what I’ve learned from boxing and the compassion given to me and it makes me a great coach and a better PTA.”
